“I began taking lessons with Trey as a freshman in college. I came in with big ideas and goals, and Trey gave me the tools to accomplish them. Through our weekly lessons, I was able to expand my musical knowledge and better understand vocal technique. Trey helps his students visualize the vocal mechanism in ways that are easily digestible, but very effective. He is passionate about teaching and helping his students develop their own musical style. I am grateful to have been able to work with Trey as he has given me the confidence to pursue a career in music and the knowledge to continue honing my craft.”
Michael Varno is a music teacher at The Village School in Royalston, Massachusetts. He is also an ensemble assistant with the Endicott Singers. He graduated from Endicott College where he starred in multiple musicals, held leadership roles in several ensembles, and participated in many on-campus performances. He has also worked with Boston Children’s Chorus as a teaching fellow, and North Shore Children’s Theatre and Stage 284 as a music director. He is a passionate and enthusiastic educator.
